About me

The Basics

Designer, Researcher, Marine Biologist, kayaker, roller-skater. The world is my oyster. I have found a way in life to slowly bring together all the things in life that make me happy and grounded.

I am very excited about my journey in the world of new media -specially in the areas of UX research and brand design, where I can blend creativity with purpose and really connect with people.

It feels like the natural next step in this adventure I’m on, and I am looking forward to the experiences ahead of me.

Life

Born in South America, raised in Europe, and now adulting in Canada—the world is my oyster.
I’m a curious woman with a passion for many things, but the ocean is my happy place. Close behind are playing sports, photography, and discovering new places and cultures. My passion for the ocean and team sports has taken me on amazing journeys.

The ocean has taught me to hope for the best and prepare for the worst, and that we, humans, are small but powerful creatures capable of great harm if we’re not careful.

From sports, I’ve learned to watch and listen, to be disciplined, to work as a team, and to think and act quickly. I realized the value of thinking fast and acting faster, of winning and losing with grace, and of sharing what makes me happy so others might feel the same way.
Most importantly, everything I’ve done has helped me build my community and slowly discover who I am.

Professional Journey

I've been incredibly fortunate; life always seems to place me perfectly, surrounded by the right people. After graduating as a Marine Biologist, global research projects led me to a Transoceanic Expedition with Oceana, where I worked as a diver, photographer, and biologist. This opened doors to four more projects with the organization across Europe and North America.

Eventually needing a break from constant travel, I discovered Kayak Polo. Teaching and coaching for the first time became a life-changing passion. When I moved to Canada to be an auntie, managing Vancouver's Greenhorn cafe helped my immigration dream come true. This management experience, combined with joining roller derby, led to an offer as Head Coach at Rolla Skate Club. At both Greenhorn and Rolla, I helped build and grow the businesses and their communities from the ground up, growing significantly myself along the way.
