I have been very lucky. Life often has a way of putting me
at the right place at the right time and surrounded by the right people.
After graduating as a
Marine Biologist I participated in numerous
research projects around the world by getting references from one project to the next. That led to participating on a
Transoceanic Expedition with Oceana as scuba diver, photographer and biologist, which gave me the chance to work in four other projects with the organization in Europe and North America.
Eventually, I needed a break from moving around the world, and that's when I found a passion and a community in
Kayak Polo.
I was given the opportunity to teach for the first time in my life, and I took it, and it has been a life changer. After years of kayaking in Madrid, I moved to Canada to be and auntie.
For immigration reasons, I became a
manager at a beautiful local
cafe in Vancouver, and happened to like it and be good at it. That opened the doors to get the offer to be
Head Coach at
Rolla, a new roller skating school/club starting up in the city. Both at Greenhorn and Rolla I started working from their foundation and
helped grow the business and the community while I grew myself.
