I've been incredibly fortunate; life always seems to place me perfectly, surrounded by the right people. After graduating as a Marine Biologist,
global research projects led me to a
Transoceanic Expedition with Oceana, where I worked as a diver, photographer, and biologist. This opened doors to four more projects with the organization across Europe and North America.
Eventually needing a break from constant travel, I discovered Kayak Polo.
Teaching and coaching for the first time became a life-changing passion. When I moved to Canada to be an auntie, managing Vancouver's Greenhorn cafe helped my immigration dream come true. This
management experience, combined with joining roller derby, led to an offer as Head Coach at Rolla Skate Club. At both Greenhorn and Rolla, I
helped build and grow the businesses and
their communities from the ground up, growing significantly myself along the way.
